The Lake Ontario counties annually host a series of the world’s best freshwater tournaments know as the LOC Derby. Thousands of anglers hit the lake each year in pursuit of thousands of dollars in cash prizes for salmon, lake trout, brown trout and rainbow/steelhead trout. Weigh stations are strung along the shore from the Niagara River to Henderson Harbor.
