The numerous Great Lake tributaries and inland lakes of Chautauqua County are fishing hotspots. The Chadwick Bay and Dunkirk Harbor area were recently named the Walleye Capital of the Northeast! Salmon and trout anglers flock to the Chautauqua, Cattargus and 18-Mile Creek tributaries for the spring and fall runs. Guides and charter captains are strung along all the major water bodies.
