Jefferson County
The most eastern end of Lake Ontario, where the lake pours into the mighty St. Lawrence River and 1000 Islands Region.
It’s home to one of the lake’s most diverse fisheries, with everything from King Salmon to trout, walleyes and bass. Lake guides and charter captains operate out of Black River, Chaumont Bay, Cape Vincent, Henderson Harbor and Sackets Harbor. Experienced guides are also found in the river communities of Alexandria Bay and Clayton.
